New Reality Show in Costa Rica

Governor Blagojevich  of Illinois May Get Dropped in the Middle of the Real Costa Rican Jungle.

“I’m a Celebrity, Get me Out of Here” is the latest reality show scheduled to begin filming in Costa Rica on June 1st. The idea of the show was taken from a popular British show, releases 10 celebrities into the Costa Rica jungle. Each cast member has to face a series of challenges to gain food, supplies and luxury items. Each week, like most reality shows viewers will vote for one of them to go home. We heard Governor Blagojevich is the favored since he has the most experience at manipulation.

The final celebrity cast has not been released because of the pending acceptance of the impeached Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich. He is still waiting to hear from a U.S. district court if he is allowed to leave the country. The governor, who pleaded ‘not guilty’ to 16 counts of fraud and corruption after being accused of trying to sell President Obama’s senate seat, is still awaiting the results of the trial, which could last up to 6 months. 

The winner who is left standing after four weeks will be named King or Queen of the Jungle and receive a cash prize to donate to the charity of their choice. It is rumored that Governor Blagojevich will try to get his legal defense fund organized as a charity. Other celebrities that are rumored to be participating in the show includes Nancy Kerrigan and Duane “Dog” Chapman of A&E’s reality show Dog the Bounty Hunter.

The producers have not decided where the show will take place in Costa Rica. Factors such as Costa Rica’s rainy season which is right around the corner will help in deciding a location that adds reality to the celebrities  suffering. Nonstop rain, knew deep mud, mosquitoes, raging rivers, and steam from the jungle floor will replace the special effects director with Natures owns bag of tricks.
